May 30,  · High Hopes () Old songs, covers, revivals of old covers. It seemed as though, on his 18th studio album, Bruce Springsteen was, for the first time, casting around for ticnienecirrodercitanamicontpur.coinfo’s not.

The album was recorded in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Australia and New York City and marks Springsteen's 18th studio album. 'High Hopes' finds Bruce Springsteen in a number of different musical settings, and includes the E Street Band members in various large and small combinations as well as guitarist Tom Morello on eight tracks.

Mar 08,  · What I can tell you is this: being inspired by 9/11 doesn’t make The Rising Bruce Springsteen’s best album, or even (theoretically) a good one, as Alan Jackson can tell you. But The Rising is a good album, and being inspired by 9/11 does illustrate Bruce’s uncanny way with a concept.

The Jackson Cage Down in Jackson Cage And it don't matter just what you say Are you tough enough to play the game they play Or will you just do your time and fade away Down into the Jackson Cage Baby there's nights when I dream of a better world But I wake up so downhearted girl I see you feeling so tired and confused I wonder what it's worth.

Jul 19,  · Fantastic song. I agree that it really encapsulates a lot of the Bruce experience. This one, The Promised Land, and Breakaway are three that really feel like "definitive Bruce Springsteen songs" to me. Jackson Cage feels like a more grounded Born to Run in a more easily digestible package.
