saw the release of Jackie Lomax's 3rd solo LP (his 2nd for Warner Brothers) entitled "Three (III)," with stand-out blue-eyed soul tracks including: "No Reason" and "Fever's Got Me Burning" and beautiful, slow, sad songs like "Last Time Home," which.

digital remaster of the classic Jackie Lomax album. Jackie Lomax was one of the first acts signed to Apple Records. His debut single was the George Harrison composition "Sour Milk Sea". Few artists can boast three Beatles on his album but Jackie could as John was the only absentee.4/5(29).

Hard to believe that this band was only three guys (thanks to great overdubbing of their versatile multi-instrumentation), as exemplified in the standout track New Day. In my early days as a DJ on collage radio, this track always was paired up with Jackie Lomax's track of the same name from his Is This What You Want LP, along with The McCoy's /5(12).
